In the short term, we will fulfill our commitment to our current students and we will ensure they receive all of their training, work experience and job placement services. We will also continue to award the Motive Action Apprenticeship Admission Scholarship to Motive Action graduates who have been signed up on an apprenticeship. Going forward longer term, we will be looking into how we can offer other forms of skilled trades training programs.

Since 1985, we have had the utmost privilege of helping thousands of young Albertans take the first step into a career in the trades. We have witnessed numerous young Albertans with limited education and from a wide range of backgrounds go through incredible personal transformations.

We are very proud of our graduates - around 90% of whom gained full-time employment upon completing our program. Many of them have moved on to apprenticeship and into long careers in auto body, heavy-duty, auto mechanics or welding.

I personally would like to thank all of our staff, board members, employer partners, and government funders over the years for being part of a remarkable journey. You have directly and positively impacted the lives of thousands of people.
