Jay is happy to receive his Scholarship!
When Jay applied to Motive Action for the Youth Entry Level Automotive Trades Program, he was working labour and construction jobs with little possibility for advancement and minimal stability.
“I wanted to work on cars. I knew nothing about cars. Motive Action gave me basic skills and confidence,” Jay said about the program.
Since graduating and becoming a 1st year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, Jay stated “I finally have a career. Stability has brought confidence and feeds my drive to be a better mechanic. I have less stress . . . I don’t keep track of holidays because I like working on cars.”
Jay was happy to receive the Motive Action scholarship to help expand his tool collection and help with student debt. We wish you continued success in your studies, Jay!
