Program Director Mike Hansen gives Sem his scholarship.
Before attending Motive Action, Sem had been a truck driver and then he became unemployed. He saw the Motive Action program as an opportunity to improve for himself and his family. “Mechanics has always been a passion for me,” he said.
After completing the Heavy Duty program and getting a full time job in his field, he is very grateful.
“I feel capable of studying and [completing] any assignments and tests on my career path. The skills, encouragement and motivation shown to me at Motive Action helped me to become confident and fearless when it comes to schooling. Before Motive Action, I would have never gone to school because I didn’t think I was good enough. Thanks to the teachers there, I can become what I never thought was possible.”
We are proud of Sem’s accomplishments and wish him continued success in his studies!
